LIZZIE TOMS

 

LIZZIE TOMS is a Producer/Director and Self-shooting Director. She has shot 2x60' documentaries and 10x60' for Five, and currently finishing two major productions Cambodia K5: The Story of a Former Khmer Rouge Child Soldier, and The Secret Genocide with David Monaghan Productions, which is an investigation into civilian executions during the Korean war.

An intrepid camera professional and storyteller, she has travelled many parts of the world, developing cutting-edge documentaries. She is currently producing a polar expedition to record communities displaced by the rapid thaw of the North Pole. She was DV Director and AP of Channel 4's Relocation Relocation, and Location Location Location;  Series Producer/Director of Discovery's Hotshots, and Channel Five's How to be a Property Developer

Her early work include  Associate Producer / DV Director, Vandals, BBC1(2002), which entailed filming with the Police and emergency services throughout the UK, Associate Producer, The Ronnie Knight Story (2002), a profile of the biggest cash robbers of all time, Production Executive, Christmas Glory (2000), and a stint as researcher on Holby City.
